"Seek and Share"

This Homecoming, we invite Cougars everywhere to Seek and Share—inspired by BYU’s university theme, “Seeking and Sharing His Light.” At the heart of that light is Jesus Christ. As we seek to know Him, follow His example, and draw closer to Him, we become better prepared to share His light with those around us.

To seek is to turn our hearts toward Jesus Christ. It is to seek truth, deepen our faith, learn from others, and look for His hand in our lives. Whether we are on campus, in our communities, or around the world, we can continually seek His light through prayer, scripture study, worship, service, and the relationships that help us grow.

To share is to reflect the Savior’s light in the way we live. We share His light when we serve, welcome, encourage, forgive, listen, and lift others. We share it through our talents and experiences, through the good we do in our communities, and through the love we show to those around us. In doing so, we can help others feel the hope, peace, and joy that come from Jesus Christ.

Homecoming is a time to return, reconnect, and remember what matters most. As we come together as a BYU community, may we seek the Savior and His light—and then share that light with us as we return to our homes, families, communities, and the world.
